Seismic reinforcement
This is a seismic reinforcement construction method by steel frame structure where seismic reinforcement is externally applied to current PC and SRC architectural structures. New external steel frame can be fixed to outer side of current frame via indirect connections composed of deformed bar stud or post-constructing anchor, shear reinforcement headed stud and filling materials in this construction method.
Characteristics
- Due to external reinforcement construction method, building can be used during construction work.
- Dispersed type reinforcement which makes base load smaller.
- In comparison with current construction method, reduction of work period and cost is possible.
